Managing Your Listings through ListingPro

Managing your listings has never been easier! And if you have experience with similar interfaces, such as Realtor.com, you've got a head start! The first screen you are presented with after logging in is the Administrative Tools panel. In this simple to use interface you can manage all aspects of your ListingPro, customizing it to your unique requirements.

Note! You are making "live" changes to your website as you add/delete listings. In order to view your work, be sure to have your website open in a NEW window and refresh (F5) the page to view the latest changes. If you get in the habit of having ListingPro and your website open at the same time, you'll find the process goes much quicker.

Edit/Delete Listings

To edit an existing listing, simply click on the Edit link. This will open all of the detail pertinent to that listing. Unless user is an Administrator, only his/her listings will be editable.

If you want this home to appear on your Featured Homes web page (assuming you have one), be sure to tick the box. You can have unlimited Featured Homes. However, if you are using the Tab Interface on your home page, we recommend you only have ONE featured home.

As you add/edit information, it’s a good idea to Save as you go. Use the convenient Update/Save button to save your changes and continue editing. Use Update/Exit when you’re done. You can open your listing page in a separate window (refreshing after each change) to see your changes take effect.

To add a New Listing, simply enter the information. Note, if a drop box has a Yes/No option, it will only display if Yes is shown. For the appliances, only those with a tick box checked will display. If you want to add/delete an appliance, do this through the Admin panel. Same case if you want to add a property type. Keep in mind, these changes affect ALL listings for ALL users. Therefore, you will want to think twice before deleting these fields.
If you’d like to work on a listing but do not want it to display on your site right away, tick the “Hide Listing” box. Just remember to untick it when you’re ready to show the listing.

Don’t forget to hit the ‘Log Out’ link when you’re done!
